I am looking for any information on my genealogy. My fathers name was Rick F. Hartung son of Ernest Enoch Hartung son of Albert F. Hartung. All died in Oregon. I do not know where Albert was born, but Rick and Ernest were born in Oregon. All I know is that Albert (Al)F. Hartung was the man who founded the International Woodworkers Union, AFL-CIO and was given the nickname "Bull of the Woods" for his stature and exploits here in Oregon while building his legacy. Evidently, he was a very important man, my mother told me that there were pictures of him with various Presidents including J.F.K and Jackie. Yet I can find only a couple of mentions of him in all the internet. None of which gives me any substantial info. Sadly, I do not have many other details than that.
