I just discovered this site. It caught my eye because my gg grand father was Johan Joachim Martin Hartung. He was born November 13 1840 in Geisleden, Germany. He was a baker. He moved to Thisted, a town in Jutland in Denmark where he married a Danish girl called Inger Marie Jensdatter Basse. Later on they moved to Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. I still haven't found out where and when he died.
If anyone can help me with information about his family in Geisleden, I would be greatful to hear from you.
