I do not know if this connects - but the name Draper was used as a middle name in descendants of Ebenezer Harbert (Herbert) and Mary Magdelen Wallick who were married in Carlisle PA in 1792 and then later lived in Dearborn Indiana and later Missouri. [Samuel Amazer Harbert and Thomas Draper Harbert were two of their sons]. Ebenezer is likely a son of Daniel Herbert b. abt 1750, son of Stewart Herbert b. 1721 (immigrant from Wales?)and Sidney McDill. Daniel had a brother Moses and other brothers Jacob, Thomas- several apparently fought in Revolutionary War. This family lived some time in Columbiana Co OH - or at least Daniel and a number of his children did. visit the forum for Harbert and you will find much of this information.
