I am working on a DAR application and have to provide documentation that show that Elijah Harbour, b. 1788 in Montgomery County VA was the son of David Harbour, b. 1765 in Pittsylvania VA. I also need to show that this Elijah is the father of Mary (Polly) Harbour Draper, b. 1815 in Fayette Co. Ohio. FYI; This David's father was also named Elijah, b. 1735 in Goochland VA. The Harbors in America book is not an acceptable source according to the DAR, because they don't say where they got their information from. Would appreciate leads on other books, census records, tax rolls, wills, etc that I could search. Thanks.
