I am seeking information on Janet Jean Rodgers, wife of Jacob Haymaker(in Marion County History books the name was spelled Haymaker. I have not found the tombstone). I have found her name listed as Jane, Janet, and Jean. I have seen her last name listed as Rogers and Rodgers. I have been told that her father was either John or William or a combination of both. Her mother is listed on one site as Margaret Kelly. Janet appears to have been born 25 Jan 1788 in Harrisburg, Dauphine County, Penn. One researcher says that her father was from Rye which is also in Dauphine Co. PA. Jacob is the son of Henry Hamaker, son of Johanes Adamus Hamacher. I am descended from his son, John who married Elizabeth Johnson. I am working with Sherry Richards who is descended from another son, Henry Oliver, and the Blues of Texas who are descended from a daughter, Mary Ann.
