Yes, Mary and Marie could be the same person.
I have a copy of the 1850 census of Pike County Ill. which shows Nancy Harrington age 11 in the household of Benjamin Wheeler, Almira Wheeler and 2 small Wheeler children. It shows she (Nancy was from Indiana. We also have a copy of the recording page of her marriage to our grandfather(great) on 4 Nov 1858. That record also shows her from Indiana. I notice the records in LDS show her born in Utah. I will be happy to make copies of these records and send them to you. Sorry I don't have a scanner to send them to you. I will need an address. Loved the Newsletter about Charles. It was very informative. My Aunt Ruth Wagner said she remembered visits in her childhood from Uncle Otis Hamaker. We haven't found him yet.
