Hi Richard,

I'll be glad to help you. Samuel Ham was born in 1700 in Virginia. He died March 2, 1737 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Samuel married Margaret Martin March 1719/20 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Sameul and Margaret had four children: Ann, Samuel, William and Edward. I am still working on the descnedants of Ann, Samuel and Edward, but I do have the family of William Ham. Here is a copy of a will written by Samuel Ham:

Spotsylvania Co Records Deed Book C-1734-1741

May 6, 1740 Margaret Hamm and Samuel Hamm of St. George Parish, Spts Co to Richard Couzens of same par and co 16 pounds 10s 9d curr. 100 acres in St George parish, spts Co, which land and plantation was devised by the last will and testament of Samuel Hamm, dec'd to his wife, Margaret Hamm, during her life, and at her death to Samuel Hamm (his son one of the parties to these presents, etc.) and part of a tract formerly granted John Rogers and others, etc.
