Hi Bernice,

Thanks for the info. This is the same family, however, Mabel did die in 1961, but I'm sure she did not remarry. I'm not sure who the Drvar's are.

I found a sister for Mabel Edith Richards, her name is Esther Elisabeth Richards. She married, of all people, Johnnie's brother Hattie David Ham. (I received this information from a son of Hatttie David).

Johnnie and Hattie's parents were James M. Ham,Jr. and Susan "Susie" R. Kirby.

Interestingly enough, I found William A. Ham from the 1910 Matagorda Co. census living next door to a John James Kirby and his wife Georgia (Ham) b. abt 1884. On another message board, Georgia Ham has a cousin in Matagorda named Henry Ham. The William next door has a son named Henry.

I am still looking for more census data on William A. and James Jr. parents - James M. and Martha F. Ham. If a 1890 or 1900 census could be located on them, they may have more children.

Thanks again for your help,
Lisa
