I have found out quite a bit about the Guyon family of the 17th centuary in Coggeshall. They where wealthy clothiers. Thomas Guyon (died 1660) lived outside of Coggeshall but is buried in St Peters Church as is his son Sir Mark. I have a copy of the family crest and have seen another sons will in the Essex Record Office. I have the Victorian History of Coggeshal which is quite detailed.
