I have not done a whole lot of research on this line, but it appears the name Dion/Dyon was changed from Guyon along the way with the birth of Claude Dion 10/8/1663 son of Catherine Colin and Claude Guyon. I would try looking for descendants of Jean du Buisson Guyon b 1595, d 5/3/1663, m. 1634 Marie Robin b. 1595 d 4/17/1662. for further info.

He was a French military leader from St. Andrews I believe. The prisoners in the attack on Deerfield were taken as ransom for his return from capture in Boston.
