I have been reviewing my Grover data again, and what got me started was something I saw on Rootsweb WorldConnect that contradicts my own research and ancestry... this person does have the Grover line of hers incorrect, and I cannot contact her (not sure she is even still living) but what I would like to know now is: Were there two Elizabeth "Betsey" Grovers born in Norwich on same date, different years (13 Dec 1771 and 13 Dec, 1777)? Hardly seems likely but this info I saw says that the one born 13 Dec 1771 married a Rufus Farnham 26 Nov 1801 in Asford, Windham, CT and died 1846 in PA. and that the one who md. Abel Fuller (my line)was born 13 Dec 1777 in Norwich, CT. I cannot find Norwich VRs any place on internet and I have had no luck with volunteers, so can anyone please enlighten me once and for all?? My initial research on this was done back when I was still looking at film of VRs for Norwich so I do have the birth of 1771. I do know that my Abel Fuller md. Betsey Grover probably 1796 in Montgomery County, PA and she did die in (Bradford County) PA some time after 1828. But - if I have the wrong birthdate for my Elizabeth/Betsey, then that could change my whole Grover ancestry (again - I had to re-do it a few times in the beginning anyway).
