SUICIDE -- Chris. GROVER, known as "little Chris," committed suicide in Marysville last Sunday by applying the muzzle of a pistol to his mouth and firing it off. This was done in the presence of several in BROPHY's shooting gallery. As evidence that it was premeditated, he
left the following note on his slate:
Mr. HAMILTON: Call at Mr. John BROPHY's and take my measure for a coffin, you will find me there, and oblige. Yours.
