If anyone has this John in their database please contact me as ive been searching going on 4 yrs now to his definite parentage and link to Va.John was born in Va according to 1850 tn census and being married to Eliza Jane Brooks in 1846.His children were Louis Richard,John Battle,Eliza Tennessee and Mary.- Many have john linked to a William Gregory and Elizabeth Jane Brooks but so far no absolute proof has been offered.Im willing to pay at this point for any hard evidence that points in the right direction.
