Captain William Gerrish was born 20 Aug 1617 in Bristol, Somerset, England. He was the son of John Gerish and Anne [ ]. He was christened 9 Dec 1617 at Bath Abbey, Bath, Somerset, England. William died 9 Aug 1687 in Salem, Essex, Mass., at the age of 70, and was buried 11 Aug 1687 in Salem, Mass., in the tomb of his brother-in-law, Capt. Walter Price. I have 3 of the children of Benjamin and Elizabeth (Turner) Gerrish: John, b. 23 Jun 1698; Eunice, b. 12 Nov 1699; and Lydia, b. 22 Jun 1701. I would be interested in having a descendancy of John and Lydia (Gerrish) Browne.
