So then, let me see if I am understanding your post correctly...you are saying that Samuel Moody and Elizabeth Gerrish's son was this Deacon John Moody in Lebanon? Would you happen to know if he was ever called "Capt." John Moody and lived in Newbury, MA? If you say he came to Lebanon, ME in 1786 this might very well be the same person. I don't know a thing about Samuel and Elizabeth's son's John, Daniel and William to make any comments to speak of. If you would be so kind as to post anything you might have on these son's I would be Very greatful to you. I have searched high and low for my link to my Moody family...(my maiden name) and since All of my Moody's seemed to come from MA into Maine and then stay there, I have concentrated by search in Maine.
