Hi Oliver,
No info on heraldry, sorry, but I have a question for you. In one of your earlier posts you mentioned that you believed your family came from "Ormphry le Gerische". Is that a place or a person and from when and where? Excuse my extreme ignorance please!! I'm trying to trace my William Gerrish, DOB 1620 in Bristol, England and am totally stuck so I'm tracking down all leads!
