I think that they have someone at KDLA who does research for a fee. It would be well worth it to have someone get that huge file. Those land suits often have much personal information in them. They were not in the Quarter Sessions records but in the earliest of the circuit court records. These files are in large, very dirty, cardboard boxes. The case files are literally falling to pieces. I don't think they will be around much longer. Someone is going to have a hard time flattening that big roll of Geoghegan papers. They have been rolled for 200 years.
