let me begin with Antonie Gaylord born in Normandy, France married Julian. Children are Nicholas b.1499 born in France, Joan b.1502 in Langford, Somerset, England, Alice b.1506 in England. Nicholas Married Johanna Sevenock in 1527 and died 8/31/1546 in Pitminster, England. They had 1 son, Nicholas b.1525 who married Joane Brixton Newman in 1549. He died 6/23/1572 in Pitminster, England.Joane d.8/31/1572. They had 6 children: John b.1552 d.5/26/1607, Nicholas b.1550, Hugh b.1553, Christopher b.1555, Edmond b.1557, William b.1559. From here I follow my branch beginning with John who had a son William b.5/21/1585 and d. 7/20/1673 in Windsor, Conn. He immigrated to this country in 1630. Information prior to William is rather sketchy. Hope this helps you.
