Nettie Gaylord, 78, of Lebanon, died Saturday afternoon, Nov. 6, 2004, in Northridge Place in Lebanon. She was born March 8, 1926, near Phillipsburg, MO, to Walter J. and Susan C. Wilson Moore.
On August 30, 1942, she married John L. Gaylord, who preceded her in death on August 25, 1960. She also was preceded in death by two sons, John B. and Fredrick D. Gaylord and two daughters, Carolyn Eaton and Ruthie Gaylord.
She was a devoted homemaker to her husband and family. She was baptised on August 28, 1960, and was a member of Flatwoods Bible Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Broomhead of Lebanon; a sister, Helen Johnson of St. Louis; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services for Nettie Gaylord were held at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 12, 2004, in the Holman-Howe Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Dame officiating. Burial was in the Flatwoods Cemetery.
