Aaron b.1745,s/o John, second son of Joseph & Mary (Hickox). Joseph second child of Joseph & Sarah (Stanley). Joseph eldest son of Walter & Mary (Stebbins). Walter's 2nd wife, Sarah Rockwell. Walter b.Eng. abt. 1622, came with his father, William and settled in Windsor, Ct. William Gaylord, founder of this family in America, b. Eng. came on "Mary and John" in the spring of 1630, landing at Nantucket, MA.
