What problem did you find with Edmund FREEMAN & Alice COLES? Or did you just mean with the wife of John and his ancestors? Edmund and Alice both left wills (abstracts below). All I know about John was that he was called father of the family at death. Edmond FREEMAN, Pulborough, Sussex, yeoman, 30 May 1623, 18 Je. 1623. To be bu. in Pulborough Church. To wife; daughter BEAUCHAMP; sons Edmond, Wm., & John; youngest daughter Elizabeth; seven grandchildren; sister HARTE; wife's brother George COLES; Geo. WATE, John LEW, Searam FLUSHER; to Abe LEE & other household servants; the poor of the parish, & the high church at Chichester. Nicholas BELL of Arrondell (Arundel) & George COLES of Amberly, overseers. Wit. John FLUSHER, Mary GREENFIELD. Alice FREEMAN, Rigate, Surrey, widow, 13 Nov. 1650; 5 Mar. 1651/2. To son Edmund FREEMAN & wf. To son Wm. FREEMAN. To son John CUDDINGTON & wf. Elizabeth. To dau. Elizabeth CUDDINGTON & her daughters Alice and Elizabeth. To grandch. Alice DOGETT, Mary WOOLSLEY, & Richard, George, & Elizabeth BEAUCHAMP, & to her daughters Sarah and Alice. To children of son Wm. by his last wife. To Wm. FISHER. To the poor of P(o)ulborough & Rygate parishes. Residue to John BEAUCHAMP, Rygate, Surrey, Esq., & his wf. Alice, exs. Wit. Edmond BARTON, Roger PAINE, Thomas STANDEN. There was also a lawsuit that named children and their ages and that said the witness had checked with the Billingshurst book. You say you "do have most of that info." By that, do you mean that you have the birth, marriage, death, and probate documents and other verification? That is what is important so that others who receive your information can check the source. Google "1930 census." No, I don't know of any reliable Gedcom files, but if there were, you should verify for yourself anyway. :-) Notify Administrator about this message?
