Seeking help from someone who has old Herbert Fielder book. I am attempting to prove identity of children of William L. Fielder, b. 1748, Goochland Co., VA, d. Yellow Springs Hospital, Valley Forge, PA, 1778. Does anyone have this old Fielder publication? DAR requires proof of children of William L. Fielder for me to be able to complete my application - all other proofs in place. William was listed on the Valley Forge Muster Roll site on 3 payroll musters, serving under Capt. Thweatt, 14th Continental Line, VA. He entered service in 1777 and was shown ill at Yellow Springs Hospital, Valley Forge. His names was spelled variously as Felder and Fidlar.
