Couldn't pass up passing on this info on the spelling of "Farrell/Ferrell" On my GGGrandfathers marriage certificate dated 1873 his name was spelled BOTH ways. I can only surmise that he either didn't care or couldn't spell. By the way, I am looking for his parents/siblings MILTON FARRELL was born Virginia 1823 and came to California 1849. He married a Margaret Dalton and they had 11 children.
