Doubt if any of the following will be useful to you. According to The Book of Dow, a Sarah Dow of Middleton m. 14 Nov 1781, William Warner, widower. This is from a list of "disconnected records" so no additional information is available in the book for her. The only other Warner listed, is Inya Warner who married Arthur A. Dow. Arthur A. was b. 1887. Nothing more except his ancestry - which points toward his family being from PA in late 1700's.
A John Dow b. 1857 in NH m. Hattie Maria Blodgett - but that family remained in NH.
One of the problems with the Dow name - especially Lorenzo Dow is that it was very popular at the time of the famous "crazy preacher" Lorenzo Dow to name your child after him. It was estimated that more than 20,000 children have been named for him! He was b. in 1777, and he was preaching in Ohio at the time Lafayette toured this country. Census records show a close race in naming children Lorenzo or Lafayette - well ahead of George Washington and Andrew Jackson. The name Lafayette remained popular only a year or 2 - but Lorenzo's namesakes were still appearing in early 1900's at the writing of the book. In one small primtive town in the Ozarks in early 1900's an attorney who went to the town on businees found a local official named Lorenzo Dow Haskins, and there were many named Lorenzo Dow 3rd or 4th. It turns out these mountaineers were all descendants of a colony that had moved there about 1830 from TN where Lorenzo occasionally preached.
