Hello. I restarted a project to find out about a couple on my extended family tree yesterday: William and Mary (DOW) MARSTERS who probably married in the 1820's. The only thing I know about them is they had a daughter in Boston, MA, in 1829. I don't know about any other children born to them. And, I also don't know where they married, or who their parents were. They reportedly were both born around 1800. Last night, a little on-line investigating and a few queries showed that some MARSTERS families had left MA in the late 1700's (after War) to go to Canada (Nova Scotia). And, this morning I was reminded that there were DOW families in Nova Scotia. So, I am curious whether Mary DOW and William MARSTERS married in Nova Scotia and then came down to Boston. (I understand some of the MARSTERS / MASTERS families did return to Boston.) FYI: Mary MARSTERS, b1829 in Boston, married in 1851 in Boston to Thomas O. HUTCHINSON. They had 2 children, Thomas Marsters HUTCHINSON and Mary Ann HUTCHINSON and lived in Winchester, MA. Neither son nor daughter married, but lived long lives. The 3 generations are buried in a Winchester, MA, Cemetery: William MASTERS, d1855 Mary C. MASTERS, d1875 (and HUTCHINSON's) Notify Administrator about this message?
