Walter James Dow
Funeral services for Walter J. Dow, 46 and a resident of Maplesville, will be held today at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home in Atmore at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Atmore.
He was a truck driver for Bama West Trucking and served in the United States Air-forc. He died on July 3, 2000.
Active pallbearers are Charles Johns, Dennis Terry, Stan Goff, Heith Clark, Chad McDonald and Greg Foley. Honorary pallbearers are James Friday and O'Neal Caton.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Fails Dow of Maplesville; two step-sons, Mark Howard Neal and Scott William Neal; one daughter-in-law, Susan Neal and his mother-in-law, Tennie Fails.
