Florence Gargaro and I have used cemetery inscriptions on the William Dow group of family plots, the joint purchase of a cottage property by Daniel, Orlando and Benjamin Franklin Fuller and census data to clearly show that the “Daniel Dow of Goodwin’s Mills m Caroline Dyer” page 244, and b 1828, is the son of William Dow page 240 not the son of Jeremiah and grandson of Charles page 240. Daniel Dow and his family are now properly linked. This leaves Jeremiah with only one son named Daniel, ie “Daniel b 1835”.
Also, Francis, son of John and grandson of Charles page 240, and his wife Frances are buried in the same plot as William page 240. This Francis is the first born son of William and is the “ William Francis” on the inscription.
