The 1900 federal census shows a Henry Dow in Elizabeth, Union Co. NJ. He was b. Jan 1855 in NJ of parents b. NJ. His wife Ada was b. Dec 1857 in Canada of parents b. Canada. She immigrated in 1879. They have been married 20 years and Ada is listed as having had 2 children with 2 living. Listed are daughter Effie b. PA Dec 1884, and son Charles b. NJ Jun 1894.
In 1930 in Queens NY is a Charles Dow with Adele. He lists birthplace as NJ and both parents b. NJ. He is 34, and was first married at age 28. There is a son Le Roy age 9, daughter Doris 7, and Robert age 5. If you are interested in copies of these images, e-mail me.
