Dow Family Genealogy Forum

Hi Beverly,
I have been looking at Fowlers' all afternoon in New Hampshire, from 1790 to 1820 and 1860 to 1870. There were quite a few Fowlers'in Seabrook. I kept seeing the Dow name close to the Fowler listings, so came to this site. My Great Grandfather, Ezra Lonzo Fowler, bn 1842, Ohio, always listed his mother on census records as being "born at sea" coming from Scotland. I know nothing more than that, but after years of searching, I have been directed by clues to NH. I do not know the given name of my GGGrandfather Fowler, only that they married sometime before 1842.
I am interested in your Fowler info. I dredged up a lot of Fowler names in NH today, but I don't recall seeing a Richard. Perhaps we could compare notes?
