Susan: According to: Burke, John and Sir John Bernard, C. B., LL.D., Ulster King of Arms, "A genealogical and heraldic dictionary of the landed gentry of Great Britain and Ireland," (London: Harrison and Sons, 4th ed. 1863), p. 358, "Francis' will was proved in Antigua 15 Nov 1766." This Francis Delap is listed in Burke as the son of Robert and Anne (Lindsay) Delap of Ballyshannon. Hope this helps even though it is not a primary source.
