A few years ago there was a copy of a brief obituary for a Mrs. Delap of New Lisbon (Juneau Co) in the column that gave news of years ago. I saved it as I wasn't sure if her husband was related to my ancestors (Samuel and his father Ambrose C. Delap) Ambrose and his family came to Wisconsin in 1847 from (Pultney, NY?). One of the children was named George W. (born 1837-8?) Perhaps your George was a relative of Ambrose. I think William and Jerusha were the parents of Ambrose. I sent a lot of Delap letters of the 1960's & material to another Delap descendant. She had a stroke and her daughter threw out the packet so I can't send you anything.
