Crosby, Jack View/Sign Guest Book
CROSBY Jack It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Lacrosse, Jack Crosby. Jack passed on January 22, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Arrianne, sons, Rick and Michael, and grandchildren, Christina, Jayde, Riley, Dylan and Nyla. Jack will be remembered as a tireless volunteer within BC lacrosse circles. He built the Burnaby lacrosse organization and garnered incredible success winning many minor provincial and national championships. The Burnaby Lakers Junior A team have been perennial champions, winning numerous Minto Cups. Jack was the recipient of the Lester B. Pearson award which is given to recognize an individual for his unselfish dedication and outstanding contributions of sportsmanship and distinguished leadership to the game of lacrosse and to the physical and mental development of young Canadians. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 29 at 2:00 pm at the Bill Copeland sports complex in Burnaby. Please WEAR YOUR LACROSSE JERSEY. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Jack Crosby Endowment Fund, and mailed to the BC Lacrosse Association, 4041 Ã?BÃ? Remi Place, Burnaby, BC V5A 4J8. Tax deductible receipts will be issued by the Vancouver Foundation for donations $25.00 and over.
