I am researching the Crosby name. My great-great grandparnets are Henry Washington Crosby and Emmaline Smithwick. Henry was born in 1835 in Brooks County, and Eammaline in 1839 in Madison County, Florida.
There is a Edward Crosby in the family, and his granddaddy is Jim Crosby of Brooks County, GA.
Edward Crosby is deceased, and was living in Kansas. His family is still there.
Anyone who is related to the Crosbys can contact me. I am looking for Peter Crosby and his wife Elizabeth. The last listing for Peter is in Berrien County, GA. He was killed in a battle in at the Petersburg Seige, and buried in Virginia. Peter and Paul Crosby are from South Carolina.
Adam Crosby is a cousin, and is father is Paul Crosby. Paul and his wife are buried in Berrien County, and Adam in Colquitt County, GA. Peter was born 1805, and Paul in 1804? in South Carolina
