I'm getting a little confused with the Cornell's, I think because of so many Williams, Johns and Samuels.
What I think I have is Grace, Archie, Charles, Hiram, Samuel, William, John or Joshua.
My grandmother was born in Elmira, NY and I am pretty sure the family lived in Penn Yan, NY at some point.
What I have for sure is:
Grace Anna Cornell b.1920 m. George Thomas McNeil (my grandparents)
Archie/Archiblad Cornell b. about 1900 m. Elizabeth Cleveland
Charles Christopher Cornell m. Anna Elizabeth Bailey
Hiram Cornell b.1840 m. Mary Knowlton
Before this I am confused.
There is a Socrates Cornell but I am not sure if he is Hiram's father or brother.
So I'm not sure if Hiram's father is Socrates or Samuel b.1780 and anything before that.
I sure would appreciate the help.
