The info I have on Lulu is sketchy and is from census information. I have her father as Oliver Coonrod and her mother as Jennie Unknown.
Lulu was born in 1902 in Oklahoma. I suspect her family was most likely in the Oklahoma Land Run, as most living in that area were. She married Clarence Lorette, son of John Carl Lorette and Nora Collins Lorette. I believe they had 5 girls.
Census information states that her father Oliver was born in about 1872 in Kansas. I believe that his father was also Oliver Coonrod born about 1834 in Ohio. This Oliver had another son named James Howard Coonrod, who had a son Jess. Jess married Vena Dora Simnitt, who is related to my Grandmother Virginia May Simnitt. So I have two connections to the Coonrod family.
