I am a descendant from Ulrich(Woolrich/Woolery)Coonrod who came from Switzerland in 1749. I am in the process of transcribing a journal of John Coonrod (1841-1915). He is the son of John, grandson of George and Elizabeth. He wrote this journal in 1873, while traveling from Lincoln, IL through Kansas and back again. The journal records his impressions of the towns, land, and areas he passes through. It dosen't give any genealogical information, however, it is in his own handwriting and gives some insight to his personality. Anyone interested in this file can email me and I will be happy to share it with you when I have finished the project.
