Anyone here have relatives who lived in Hocking County, OH in the early 1800s? My own ancester is George Washington Conrad b 25 Sep 1805 Frederick Co., VA. He had three wives, Amelia Reynolds (9 children), Julia Ann Pruden (who died after giving birth to their only child who died young), and Mary Parker (6 children) who bore my gggrandmother Leafy Agnes (Conrad) Miller. I believe his father is the Christopher Coonrod who lived in Hocking Co, OH after the mid 1820s. George has his surname spelled variously Conrad, Conrade & Coonrod in the censuses. Christopher is Coonrod in 1850. I'd like confirmation that this Christopher is indeed George's father.
