I am sorry but I have no info if there are descendants who have been tested. I am not directly related but merely trying to learn which family line Elisha T. Cobb belongs. I have found the 1860 Census has the family in Conway and the 1870 Census lists his father in Ashfield (but I have not viewed the imnage yet whether Elisha T. Cobb was there, especially as he had married prior to the census).
The Cobb name in upper NY 1870 Census has no Elisha T. Cobb (nor any Elisha of the right age) and is not apparently a place to follow him nor connected to him.
If someone has access to view the Ashfield 1870 census, then he may be found either with his father or not, in which case, there may be something to help regarding this family.
