I am a descendant of William Cobb, brother of Rachel Cobb. Several descendants I know have been researching Samuel Cobb who supposedly lived in Orange County Indiana (French Lick) and so far no one has been able to find out much about him. He is mentioned several times in the History of Orange County but no mention of his wife's name, when he died or where he was buried. It is a major brick wall! Through DNA testing my cousin discovered our line of Cobbs is related to Henry Cobb of Barnstable, MA (Henry the Elder).
I would be interested in information you may have about the Azor Charles family and the Joel Charles family . . . I was intrigued about mention of a Preston Charles (son) but haven't been able to find out his connection.
