In the book by Robert Abell, "The Abell Family in America", p. 153, he has Elisha Thomas Cobb, born 4-10-1846 in Buckland, Mass. "probably a descendant of Elder Harry Cobb" <meant to be Henry Cobb>. Elisha Cobb married, 11-11-1869 at Conway, MA, Wealthy Cathcart Abell, b. 7-19-1846, Goshen, MA. They had a child Harry Lewis Cobb, who was b. in Conway, MA on 7-7-1873 (maybe more?)
As one family in Buckland, Mass. & its area was from the Taunton (MA) line [of David Cobb], does any one have any data connecting this Elisha Cobb? He may be from a son of Josiah, since he was born abnt 1773 and had 5 sons by two wives (Josiah, David, William, Morgan, Augustine); (or by another son of David Cobb?)
If probably connected to Henry Cobb of the Barnstable line, no connection has been found yet to him. Does anyone have this family line or his ancestor(s)?
