Ms. Marty Hiatt,
I haven't looked in Frederick Co. VA much. I know one of Phillips daughters was married in Beckeley Co WV in Mar 1817 to George Hott. Family Lore says Phillip Cline (most likely Klein) was one of three brothers who were Hessian soldiers and came to fight in the Rev. war. Phillip was born 1750/60 in Hesse Cassel, Germany. George Hott was born in Winchester, Frederick Co. VA. Henry Hott, father of George was in Fredrick Co. Va at one point in time. What year was your William in Pickaway Co.? Perhaps we are working on the same family.
