Hi
I have both the Germanic Klein's my Father's side and the English Cline's on my Mother's side. My Martha Cline of Mafryland I was looking for turned out to be Martha Klein. But in my research I have found the Germanic community to be more closly knit where the English descent mixed more readily with others. It's not a 100% surity but if you have a Cline look at the family make up if it tends to be more Germanic the possiblity is that the spelling will be the Klein instead of Cline. Hopefully this will help- for those serching for thier lost Cline/Klein ancestry.
