St. Louis, Sept. 1.--The widows of Jas. B. CLINE, Judge STEPHENSON and Thomas E.
DUTRO, murdered by the mob in Cass county, some months ago, for the alleged issue of
fraudulent county bonds, have brought suit against against Sheriff BRYANT, and some
thirty-five other citizens of Cass county, for the murder of their husbands. The
amount of damages in each case is $5,000, being the sum limited by law.
