Lonnie,

I'm interested in Mary Cleaver Higginbotham of Barbados.

Her mother's name was Millicent and at the time Millicent wrote her will (1682) she was the widow of a Jennings. Have been unable to locate the name of Mary's father or her mother's maiden name.

I am especially interested in Millicent as her will names "cousin Saml. Furney" according to the abstract I have. I think it's possible that "Saml. Furney" was Samuel Finney whose mother was Martha Higginbotham, aunt of Mary Cleaver Higginbotham's husband John.

I'm hoping that research on Millicent (?) Cleaver Jennings might provide additional information on the Higginbotham family (Martha Higginbotham Finney's mother's name is unknown) or on the family of Samuel Finney's wife (commonly seen as Mary Evans but I haven't been able to document).

Any help you can provide will be most appreciated.
