I am seeking any information regarding my g.g.grandfather Maurice Carey born c1855 Limerick, he married Mary or Hanora McCarthy St.Johns, Limerick 07/05/1874. He had brothers Daniel c1853 and Christopher. Any information regarding other siblings or parents would be great. The family name was changed sometime around 1900 to Clarey or Cleary by half of the family who were by now living in Bootle, Liverpool, any info as to why this name change took place????
