The database of the Calkins Family Association shows an Emeline Calkins, dau of Ransom and Emeline (Rand) Calkins, born 1845 in Elizabethtown, NY. We have nothing (marriage, death, etc.) on her. Sounds like a fit, but you will want to verify if possible. Emeline Jr. had a bunch (14) of siblings and half siblings, some with unusual names like Iver and Elon. If such names show up in her family, it would help show a connection.
We have the line back to the immigrants Hugh and Anne. I can send copies, but it is easier for me to send snail mail, if you would give a street address to me at kencalkins@prodigy.net.
