Hi, Gail; I feel sure that the family yoy mention is descended from the immigrants Hugh and Ann Calkins, ans we are therefore cousins, but at the moment I cannot place them in our database. We have many Daniels in the database, but none listed as Daniel Rowley Calkins. There were also several intermarriages with Rowleys but I do not see any Rowley lady who had a son she named Daniel. We have an Edwin Daniel Calkins listed, but he is the son of Orin. I will keep looking at this and see if I cannot find the connection. if you get more data, let me know. Yes,my book is still available from Higginson Book Co. They print to order, so it takes a time to receive it. A "GEDCOM" (short for GEnealofy Data COMmunication)is a computer file that can be transferred by floppy disc or e-mail that permits genealogy data to be transferred from one computer genealogy program (such as my Brother's Keeper) to another (such as PAF, Family Tree Maker, etc.) When we get your connection worked out, I am sure we can make some arrangements. Regards, Ken Calkins Notify Administrator about this message?
