I am hoping someone can help me with the BULLEN family whose children were Alfred BULLEN married Susan BAKER and maybe the generation before a Abigail Bullen who married Jared DOOLITTLE in Blanford, Hampshire, Mass 31 Dec 1795.
Jared's child David DOOLITTLE married Electa BAKER (maybe a sister to Susan BAKER)in New York; then they were some of the first people who settle the Kenosha WI area -- the family was in dairying. I have not been able to find David's death date although Electa lives with her daughter Carolina DOOLITTLE REITER later in MN 1865. I have her obituary undate but probably 1888 listing nieces (Hoyt, Sears,Cutter, & Whitmore - which I have found as Alfred BULLEN family) and a great-granddaughter "She has one great-grand-daughter living in this city, Mrs. Edith Scott Waters, whose father, Wm. Waters, has long been connected with Morning Call- San Francisco Evening Bulletin. July 12 (no date given)"
Hopefully someone is working with this family -- the DOOLITTLES would be my 3rd greatgrandparents. thanks, and will be glad to share, Mary in South Dakota
