Thanks for your response.

Here is what I have for Mary Ann Hastings . She was the daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth Hastings From South Carolina.

1850 Butler Co. Alabama Census as follows : Benjamin self
wife Elizabeth , daughters Mary & Matilda .

December 14, 1854 Married Robert W. Black and Mary A. Hastings ,bond by Robert W and Thomas E. Black.

1860 Butler Co. Alabama Census Robert Is listed as R.M. Black , wife M.A.L.( Mary) Black , Daughter F.E.( Florence) Black, son E.J.( Ehlbert) Black , daughter E.F.( Ella) Black

1870 Butler Co. Ala. census : Mary Black with children Florence , Ella & Ehlbert

1880 Hopkins Co. Texas Census : Mary Black with children Florence, Albert ( Ehlbert) and Ella. Also John Hastings
Mary's brother is living with in this household.

1900 Hopkins Co. Texas census Mary and her brother are in the house with Mary & Robert Black's daughter Florence who is married to Will A. Worsham.

I hope this helps you with your research on the Black Family from Butler Co. Alabama.

Do you know where Mary and her children are burried? I think in or around Hopkins Co., Texas but I have only found Elbert J. Black's death record with date of death Sept. 12, 1930 with burial at Gafford Chapel in Hopkins Co., Texas
Thanks again
Doris Hastings
