Bertrands: Rose b. 1880; sisters Mary and Josephine.

Rose was my grandmother who died circa 1920. She married William Major and had four children: John, James, Mary and Thomas.

Her sister, Mary, married Robert Major and settled in Cleveland. They had a daughter, Rita.

The youngest children of Rose, (Mary and Thomas) were raised in Cleveland by Mary Bertrand Major after Rose died.

There may also have been a sister named Josie. They were French Canadians.
